Event Recap
Waynesboro Senior Forum 2009
Making Community Connections
The Waynesboro Senior Advocacy Commission (WSAC) would like to thank the attendees, sponsors, speakers and local service providers who made the 2009 Senior Forum such a success!
This event took place on September 28, 2009 at Waynesboro First Baptist Church. We're proud to say that
over 125 people attended the first annual event.
Expert guest speakers provided the audience with valuable information, many fun door prizes were handed out and complimentary refreshments were enjoyed by all. Seniors were also able to speak directly with 16 local service providers at the Information Fair.
We received extremely positive feedback from local seniors. A resident of a Waynesboro retirement community hugged one of our WSAC members and said,
"We really needed something like this. Please do it again."
